Nyla Rehman is a Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a BA in Psychology from McGill University in Montreal,Canada, and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Care from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Nyla was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and has lived in several other places including the Middle East, South Asia, New York, and now resides in Connecticut. Nyla has been married for 23 years and has 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and traveling to experience different cultures. Nyla strives to provide compassionate care for her clients’ emotional well-being by creating a safe and trusting environment where they can be heard and work towards experiencing a more meaningful life. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, families and couples to facilitate a mentally healthy lifestyle. Nyla works collaboratively with her clients to identify their values, their circumstances, and helps bring to light behavior patterns that may be holding them back from realizing their personal goals. She seeks to empower them as they grapple with the demands of life. At different stages in life individuals may struggle with feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, or simply stuck. Life can be complicated and making changes can feel like a daunting experience. Nyla seeks to provide support, clinical expertise, and guidance in a non-judgmental space that is embedded in respect and trust. Nyla is a member of AAMFT and is delighted to be working with such a professional and compassionate team of clinicians, at the Redeem Wellness Center, under the supervision of Marcos Rosa, LMFT.
