Monica Jeffers

Monica Jeffers is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a strong background in human services and family dynamics. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Human Services and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University.

With a diverse professional background, Monica has experience as a preschool teacher and has worked extensively with families in her community. Her personal journey as a mother of four teenagers and her 20+ years of marriage have further deepened her understanding of the complexities of relationships, parenting, and personal growth.

Monica is committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space for her clients, ensuring they feel heard, validated, and supported. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, helping individuals, couples, and families identify behavioral patterns that may be hindering their personal and relational goals. Her areas of expertise include parenting challenges, couples’ dynamics, and guiding individuals toward meaningful behavioral changes in their relationships.

Outside of her professional work, Monica enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring nature on walks with her dog, and traveling to new destinations.
