Henrique is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern from Kairos University. Henrique was born and raised in Brazil where he served as a pastor in various cities throughout the country, training leaders and developing churches as therapeutic communities. Henrique received his M.A. in Theology in 2002 from Faculdade Teologica Sul Americana and was certified in Leadership by the Haggai International Institute, in Maui, HI, in 1998. Henrique enjoys playing soccer,
jogging, traveling, and in the company of family and friends. After 16 years as a pastor in Brazil, Henrique moved with his family to the U.S. in 2006 to plant a Brazilian church in the Bridgeport area. Here, he has been deeply involved in the Brazilian community, addressing their spiritual, social, and legal needs. Since then, Henrique advocated on behalf of immigrants, especially in providing accessible mental health
treatment. Henrique is passionate about teaching and serving people, desiring to guide them in reaching their full potential and living a life of deep meaning. He is a speaker who has lectured on leadership and spirituality, motivating people to live an emotionally, physically, and spiritually healthy lifestyle. Henrique has two published books: “What Do I Do When? A Teenage Survival Guide” Vol. 1 and 2.
Henrique has been married for 33 years and has three children and
one granddaughter. He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.
