David has earned a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kairos University, a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary, an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Before becoming a therapist, David had a successful career as a corporate executive in the technology sector serving leading global companies for just under 20 years, served in church leadership as a lay pastor (which he continues to do), and served as a stay-at-home father. 

He and his wife were married in 1991 and raised their three children (now adults) here in Connecticut.  David enjoys sailing, skiing, carpentry, reading, and raising guide dogs for the seeing impaired.  

David is compelled toward an integrative theoretical approach, aligning the treatment plan and techniques with the client’s needs and goals.  His theological and therapeutic training help him guide his clients to “have life and have it abundantly” through the application of empirical methodology, and (when requested) scriptural precedent.
