Monica Freitas

Monica Freitas was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, her life journey has led her to spend most of her adult life in the beautiful state of Connecticut, which has given her insight into both Brazilian and American cultures.

Fluent in both Portuguese and English, Monica pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, followed by a master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. Her educational background laid a solid foundation for her lifelong mission: helping individuals unlock their full potential and thrive.

Driven by her passion for helping others, Monica has embarked on mission trips to Haiti and El Salvador, where she provided invaluable support to adults and children alike. These experiences have deepened her understanding of diverse cultures and reinforced her belief in the transformative power of empathy and connection. She serves as a simultaneous translator at her local church, further exemplifying her dedication to serving her community and facilitating meaningful connections.

Monica’s goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

Whether navigating life transitions, managing stress, or coping with trauma, Monica is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to help her clients thrive.
